eViacam or also known as Enable Viacam is a program that is designed to replace mouse usage. This is how it works. It is programmed to allow the pointer to move as you move your head. It can work in any standard computer that has a web camera and you do not need any additional software to make this work. This interesting application supports GNU or Linux and Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows Vista. Before using eViacam, you need to install a web camera just in case your computer doesn’t have one configured. Make sure that you configure the camera in manual exposure mode so you can adjust it as you move along the program. Face the camera so you are in frontal view and check the width of your face. Note that it should be a third of the width of the frame.
